Channel Advisor eShopCONNECTOR
To use eShopCONNECTED to synchronize with a Channel Advisor account, you need to purchase an eShopCONNECTOR specifically for Channel Advisor. Contact the CB Sales Team for more details.
Once the Activation has been successfully completed, you can then configure the Channel Advisor source.
The General config group contains many of the same settings as the Generic XML source. See Configuration Settings for the settings details.
The Channel Advisor config group contains the settings which are specific to the Channel Advisor source as follows:

By default, eShopCONNECTED will attempt connect to Channel Advisor using the Developer Key and password. If you have you own Developer Key from Channel Advisor, then you can enter it here and the related password in OwnDeveloperPassword. If you don't have your own Channel Advisor Developer Key, then you can leave this and the OwnDeveloperPassword blank, but you must then request Channel Advisor to permit access to your Channel Advisor account from the Developer Key (2ca5d51e-d8a6-4221-be03-ad27053bbcb9). |
| OwnDeveloperPassword | This is the password for your own Channel Advisor Developer key if you entered one in OwnDeveloperKey, otherwise leave blank. |
| AccountName | Your legal trading name as registered with Channel Advisor for your merchant account. |
| AccountID | This is your unique ID which identifies you as a merchant with Channel Advisor.
If you have more than one Account ID for Channel Advisor, you will need to select the required number of accounts in the Activation Wizard which will then allow you to enter multiple Account IDs. |
| ISItemIDField | This setting defines whether Inventory Items are identified using the Interprise ItemCode or ItemName field. |
| Currency | This setting defines the Currency that eShopCONNECTED uses importing records from this source. |
| PaymentType | This setting defines which Connected Business Payment Type is to be used to create a payment record for the imported orders where a payment has already been taken from the customer. |
| PricesAreTaxInclusive | This setting defines whether Orders received from Channel Advisor have prices which are inclusive of Sales Tax (VAT) or exclude tax. |
| TaxCodeForSourceTax | This setting defines which Connected Business Sales Tax Code is to be used for Orders received from Channel Advisor with prices that are Inclusive of Sales Tax (VAT). It is not used if the PricesAreTaxInclusive setting is set to No |
| EnablePaymentTypeTranslation | This setting determines whether the eShopCONNECTED Payment Type Translation function is enabled or not. See Payment Type Translation for more information. |
| ActionIfNoPayment | This setting determines what action is taken with orders on Channel Advisor which do not yet have an associated payment. |
| If set to Import as Quote, then the order will be imported as a Quote into Connected Business and then when the order is updated on Channel Advisor with a successful payment, the order will be imported again as an Order and the original Quote marked as having been converted to a Sales Order. If set to Ignore, then no action will be taken until the order is updated on Channel Advisor with a successful payment. |
