Payment Type Translation

When importing orders etc. from an external system where the external system handles the collection of the payment from the customer, but the payment is made to you via various different methods e.g. Channel Advisor, Magento, eShopCONNECTED provides means of translating the Source payment type to the equivalent Payment Type in Connected Business.

Setting the EnablePaymentTypeTranslation config setting to Yes causes an additional Payment Type Translation tab to appear on the Config Settings form. Selecting this tab enables the expected Source Payment Type, to be entered and the corresponding Connected Business Payment Type to be selected.
