eBay eShopCONNECTOR
As part of the standard install, eShopCONNECT creates an eBay Connector source which requires a separate Activation Code to enable it. If you want to use the eShopCONNECTOR for eBay, then you need to set the enable eBay checkbox in the Activation Wizard. Once the Activation has been successfully completed, you can then configure the eBay source.
The General config group contains many of the same settings as the Generic XML source. See Configuration Settings for the settings details.
The eBay config group contains the settings which are specific to the eBay source as follows
| SiteID | This is the identifier for your eBay web site instance. By default, it is set to Main for your first site.
If you trade on more than one eBay web site or have more than one eBay account, you will need to select the required number of accounts in the Activation Wizard which will then allow you to enter multiple Site IDs. |
| Country | This is the eBay Country code for the eBay site which you trade on. |
| AuthToken | This is the email address to which eShopCONNECT will send details of any input errors encountered. This is the Auth Token created by eBay to enable eShopCONNECTED to access eBay. To create this, click the button which appears when you select this row on the config settings grid. A browser window will open asking you to log in to your eBay account and authorise eShopCONNECTED to access your eBay account. When so advised by eBay, close the browser window and confirm to eShopCONNECTED that you successfully logged into eBay. eShopCONNECTED will then retrieve your Auth Token from eBay. |
| TokenExpires | This is the date your Auth Token expires and is automatically set when eShopCONNECTED retrieves your Auth Token. |
| OrderPollIntervalMinutes | This setting defines the number of minutes that eShopCONNECT will wait between each poll to eBay for orders. By default, it is set to 15 minutes. |
| ISItemIDField | This setting defines whether Inventory Items are identified using the Connected Business ItemCode or ItemName field. |
| PricesAreTaxInclusive | This setting defines whether Inventory Prices are sent to eBay, and Orders received from eBay, as Inclusive of Sales Tax (VAT) or excluding tax. |
| TaxCodeForSourceTax | This setting defines which Connected Business Sales Tax Code is to be used for Orders received from eBay with prices that are Inclusive of Sales Tax (VAT). It is not used if the PricesAreTaxInclusive setting is set to No. |
| AllowShippingLastNameBlank | This setting determines what action eShopCONNECTED takes if the ShipLastName field in the eBay XML order is blank.

| PaymentType | This setting defines the number of minutes that eShopCONNECTED will wait between each poll to eBay for orders. By default, it is set to 15 minutes. |
| EnablePaymentTypeTranslation | This setting determines whether the eShopCONNECTED Payment Type Translation function is enabled or not. See Payment Type Translation for more information. |
| ActionIfNoPayment | This setting determines what action is taken with orders on eBay which do not yet have an associated payment. |
| If set to Import as Quote, then the order will be imported as a Quote into Connected Business and then when the order is updated on eBay with a successful payment, the order will be imported again as an Order and the original Quote marked as having been converted to a Sales Order. If set to Ignore, then no action will be taken until the order is updated on eBay with a successful payment. |

| EnableSKUAliasLookup | This setting determines whether the eShopCONNECTED SKU Alias Lookup function is enabled or not. See SKU Aliases topic for more information. |
| AccountDisabled | This setting defines whether the eBay SiteID is active or disabled. |
