3DCart eShopCONNECTOR

As part of the standard install, eShopCONNECT creates a 3DCart Connector source which requires a separate Activation Code to enable it.  If you want to use the eShopCONNECTOR for 3DCart, then you need to set the enable 3DCart checkbox in the Activation Wizard.  Once the Activation has been successfully completed, you can then configure the 3DCart source.

The General config group contains many of the same settings as the Generic XML source. See Lerryn Configuration Settings for the settings details.

The ThreeDCart config group contains the settings which are specific to the 3DCart source as follows:

StoreID This is the identifier for your 3DCart web store. By default, it is set to Main for your first site.

If you have more than one 3DCart web store, you will need to select the required number of accounts in the Activation Wizard which will then allow you to enter multiple Store IDs.

With multiple Store IDs, you can have different config settings for each store.
StoreURL This is the URL that 3DCart uses to identify your store. This is typically myDomain.3DCart.com and is the address that 3DCart opens when you click on View Store in the 3DCArt admin console.

You need to enable the API in your 3DCart config and generate a UserKey to enter in the UserKey field.

UserKey The UserKey generated in your 3DCart settings when you enabled the API above.
OrderPollIntervalMinutes This setting defines the number of minutes that eShopCONNECT will wait between each poll to 3DCart for orders. By default, it is set to 15 minutes.
ISItemIDField This setting defines whether Inventory Items are identified using the Interprise ItemCode or ItemName field.
Currency This setting defines the currency that the 3DCart web site uses as its base currency.
EnablePaymentTypeTranslation This setting determines whether the eShopCONNECT Payment Type Translation function is enabled or not. See Payment Type Translation for more information.
AllowShippingLastNameBlank  This setting determines what action eShopCONNECT takes if the Shipment/LastName field in the 3DCart XML order is blank.
    • If set to No, and the Shipment/LastName field in the 3DCart XML order is blank, the order will be rejected.
    • If set to Yes, then the action taken depends on whether the Shipment/FirstName field in the 3DCart XML order is blank or not.
    • If both the Shipment/FirstName and Shipment/LastName fields in the 3DCart XML order are blank, then the BillingAddress/FirstName and BillingAddress/LastName fields will be copied and used instead of the ShipFirstName and ShipLastName fields.
    • If only the Shipment/LastName field in the 3DCart XML order is blank and the Shipment/FirstName field is not blank, then the Shipment/FirstName field will be copied and used as the Shipment/LastName field.
EnableSKUAliasLookup This setting determines whether the eShopCONNECT SKU Alias Lookup function is enabled or not.  See SKU Aliases topic for more information.
AccountDisabled This setting defines whether the 3DCart StoreID is active or disabled.
