Amazon eShopCONNECTOR

As part of the standard install, eShopCONNECTED creates an Amazon Connector source which requires a separate Activation Code to enable it. If you want to use the eShopCONNECTOR for Amazon, then you need to set the enable Amazon checkbox in the Activation Wizard. Once the Activation has been successfully completed, you can then configure the Amazon source.

You must also register with Amazon for their Merchant Web Services as described in the Using eShopCONNECTED with Amazon.

The General config group contains many of the same settings as the Generic XML source. See Configuration Settings for the settings details.

The Amazon config group contains the settings which are specific to the Amazon source as follows:

AmazonSite This defines which Amazon site your merchant account applies to.
OwnAccessKeyID By default, eShopCONNECTED will attempt connect to Amazon using the Developer Account. If you have you own Developer Account with Amazon, then you can enter it's Access Key ID here and the related Secret Access Key in OwnSecretAccessKey. If you are connecting to an Amazon site other than the UK or US sites, then you MUST use your own Amazon Developer Account and enter the related Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.
OwnSecretAccessKey This is the Secret Access Key for your own Amazon Developer account if you entered an Access Key ID in OwnAccessKeyID, otherwise leave blank.
MerchantToken This is your unique ID which identifies you as a merchant with Amazon.

If you have more than one MerchantToken for Amazon, you will need to select the required number of accounts in the Activation Wizard which will then allow you to enter multiple Merchant IDs.

With multiple MerchantTokens, you can have different config settings for each account.

MerchantName Your legal trading name as registered with Amazon for your merchant account.
MWSMerchantID Your Amazon MWS Merchant ID which was allocated by Amazon when you registered for Amazon Merchant Web Services as described in the Using eShopCONNECTED with Amazon.
MWSMarketplaceID Your Amazon MWS Marketplace ID which was allocated by Amazon when you registered for Amazon Merchant Web Services.
AmazonManualProcessingPath This is the path where the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service places files that it has downloaded from Amazon which require manual processing.  By default, this is set to C:\eShopCONNECT\FilesForManualAction and the Install Wizard should create this directory for you.

We recommend that if you change this path, the AmazonManualProcessingPath, AmazonImportProcessedPath and AmazonImportErrorPath should be on the same physical drive of the computer where the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service is installed.

AmazonImportProcessedPath This is the path where the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service will place all the XML Import files which were imported successfully.  By default, this is set to C:\eShopCONNECT\FilesProcessedSuccessfully and the Install Wizard should create this directory for you.

We recommend that if you change this path, the AmazonManualProcessingPath, AmazonImportProcessedPath and AmazonImportErrorPath should be on the same physical drive of the computer where the eShopCONNECT Windows Service is installed.

AmazonImportErrorPath This is the path where the eShopCONNECT Windows Service will place any XML Import files which failed to process correctly.  By default, this is set toC:\eShopCONNECT\FilesWithErrors and the Install Wizard should create this directory for you.

We recommend that if you change this path, the AmazonManualProcessingPath, AmazonImportProcessedPath and AmazonImportErrorPath should be on the same physical drive of the computer where the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service is installed.
