Use eShopCONNECTED with Magento

An eShopCONNECTOR is available for eShopCONNECTED to provide an interface to web sites built using Magento.

To use eShopCONNECTED with Magento,

1. You need to activate and configure the Magento eShopCONNECTOR. See Magento eShopCONNECTOR topic for details.
2. Once you have activated the Magento eShopCONNECTOR and edited and saved the config settings, the eShopCONNECTED Magento function requires minimal user intervention.
3. f you have an existing Magento web site which contains details of your products, you can use the eShopCONNECTED Import Wizard to import products from Magento and create Inventory Items in Connected Business. The eShopCONNECTED Import Wizard can import most Magento product types apart from bundles.
4. You can publish Inventory Items from Connected Business to Magento either on an item by item basis from the eShopCONNECTED – Magento tab on the CB Inventory Items form or you can publish groups of products with similar settings to Magento using the eShopCONNECTED Bulk Publishing Wizard. The eShopCONNECTED Bulk Publishing Wizard is recommended if you are publishing to a new (empty) Magento instance as it can also create Categories in Magento based on your Connected Business Categories and also publish Attributes and Attribute Values to Magento from CB. 5. The eShopCONNECTED Windows Service will poll the Magento API set in the APIURL config setting at regular intervals defined by the OrderPollIntervalMinutes config setting and any orders received will automatically be imported into Connected Business.
6. When orders are completed in Connected Business, the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service will automatically update Magento with the shipment details including any Tracking Numbers from the Connected Business Shipping module.
7. Details of any errors will be sent to the nominated email address entered in the config settings.
