Create New Shipping Method Group Maintain Shipping Method Groups Delete Shipping Method Group

Shipping Method Group is used to organize shipping methods that apply to a particular class of customers e.g. “Domestic” or “International”.

When in the Shipping Method Group screen of the New Company Wizard, you will find a default shipping method group. You can modify or add to the shipping method group based on the needs of your company.

 

 

Create New Shipping Method Group

1. In the Shipping Method Group screen of the New Company Wizard, click on the New button. Or, go to the Shipping module > Setup > Shipping Method Group. The Shipping Method Group setup form will display.
   
2. Enter a Shipping Method Group name e.g. “Webship”.
   
3. Check the Active checkbox to include the shipping method group in the dropdown lists.
4. In the Existing Shipping Method list, select the shipping methods to group. Use the > button to move the selected shipping method to the Selected Shipping Method list. Use >> to move all.
   
   
   
5. Save the details before closing the Shipping Method Group setup form. 

 

MAINTAIN SHIPPING METHOD GROUPS

1. Go to the Shipping module.
2. Select Shipping Method Group under the Setup menu to display the Shipping Method Group setup form.
3. Edit the details as necessary and save before closing the form. 

 

DELETE SHIPPING METHOD GROUP

1. From the Shipping Method Group setup form, select the shipping method group to delete.
2. Click on the Delete option in the menu items.
3. Choose Yes in the prompt to delete.
