Set Up App Config Log-In For CB and CBE

This document demonstrates the steps for setting up the application configurations for Connected Business admin and Connected Business eCommerce web admin user accounts, respectively. These two accounts need to be set up separately.

 

App Config Log-In For Connected Business

To set the log-in details for the Connected Business Admin,

  1. Go to the Log-In page of the Connected Business application and click the Change menu. The Configuration Tool will be displayed.

  2. Enter the details for User Code and Password fields as specified in the Admin User account.

  3. Click the Test button to verify if the details entered are correct and if the database connection is working properly. You will be prompted that the connection succeeded. Click OK.

  4. Click Save and Close to save the login details.

App Config Log-In for Connected Business eCommerce (CBE)

After setting the log-in detail for the Connected Business Admin, set the login details for the Web Admin.

  1. Open Application Configuration by going to Start > All Programs > Connected App Config to display the Application Configuration Tool.

  2. Locate the web.config file to load the company setup details. Enter the details for the User Code and Password as specified in the Web Admin User account.

  3. Click the Test button to verify if the details entered are correct and if the database connection is working properly. You will be prompted that the connection succeeded. Click OK.

  4. Click Save and Close to save the login details.
