Maintain CRM Module Setup and Preferences

Overview

CRM Module Preference is used to set up default values for the CRM module tasks, as well as for default filtering in the Activity Calendar and various CRM analysis dashboards.

 

 

 

Configure Preference for the CRM Module

Steps

  1. From the CRM module, select Setup > Preferences. The CRM Peferences form will be displayed.
  2. The preferences for the CRM Module are as follows:

     

    Calendar Dashboard

    CRM Preference

    Definition

    Default Calendar Filter

    The Default filter for the activity dashboard, “My Default Filter” displays all activities e.g. of all status, priority etc. assigned to the current user.

    You may create new filters from the filter pane of the Activity Calendar and set it as the default filter.

    Default Activity Color

    The default activity color is red. You may select a default activity color to easily distinguish activities that are assigned to you or other users in Connected Business.

    Show Callbacks You may check the box to show list of callbacks on CRM forms.
    Show To Do's You may check the box to show list of to do's on CRM forms.


     

    Case Dashboard

    CRM Preference

    Definition

    Default Case Filter The default filter for the Case dashboard, “My Default Filter” displays all activities e.g. of all status, priority etc. assigned to the current user. You may create new filters from the filter pane of the Case dashboard.
    Opportunity Dashboard  
    Default Opportunity Filter The default filter for the Opportunity Dashboard, “My Default Filter” displays all activities e.g. of all status, priority etc. assigned to the current user.

    You may create new filters from the Filter pane of the Opportunity Dashboard.
    Is opportunity Gross Revenue

    You may select where you want the opportunity analysis to compute for the opportunity standing:

    • Use Gross Revenue (Sales) – the average value of sales will be calculated and used in the computation for the weighted average of the opportunities
    • Use Profit Margin (Profit) – the average value of profit will be calculated and used in the computation for the weighted average of the opportunities

     

    Opportunity Dashboard

    You may create new filters from the Filter pane of the Opportunity Dashboard.

    Campaign Wave Calendar

    Definition

    Default Wave Filter The Campaign Wave Calendar (found in the Waves tab of the Campaign form), “My Default Filter” displays all campaign waves of the campaign e.g. of all status, priority etc assigned to the current user.

    You may create new filters from the Filter pane of the Wave Dashboard.

     

    Service Level Agreement

    CRM Preference

    Definition

    Default SLA The default value, “Default SLA” is used in case performance analysis. It determines the color of the case indicators if the case is within SLA, nearing the due date or overdue.
  3. Click OK.
