Maintain Bad Debt Provisions

As long as the bad debt provision journal entry is unposted, you may amend the details in the bad debt provision entries.

Steps

1. From the Accounting module, select Bad Debt  > Find Bad Debt Provision button from the menu options. The bad debt provision history search screen will display.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Select the bad debt provision record in the list to load the Bad Debt Provision form.
   
   
3. Amend the details to the bad debt provision as needed. 

Reverse the Bad Debt Provision

1. Select Bad Debt > Find Bad Debt Provision. The bad debt provision history search screen will display.
   
   
2. Select the bad debt provision in the Open Bad Debt Provisions tab to display the Bad Debt Provision form.
   
   
3. Click Reverse in the menu to reverse the bad debt provision.
