File Import eShopCONNECTOR
The File Import eShopCONNECTOR provides the ability to import Orders etc. from files rather than via the standard eShopCONNECTED web based XML import.
If you require file based import, please contact (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to obtain an Activation Code for the File Import eShopCONNECTOR.
To enter your File Import Activation Code,
- Open the eShopCONNECTED Activation Wizard.
- Set the 'I wish to enter an Activation Code emailed to me by Lerryn' checkbox on the welcome page of the wizard,
- Paste the Activation Code into the box which will appear and click the Update button.
- Once the Activation Code has been successfully entered and saved, you can then configure the XML File Import source.
The General config group contains many of the same settings as the Generic XML source. See Configuration Settings for the settings details.
The settings specific to the XML File Import source are as follows:
| PollGenericImportPath | This setting must be set to Yes for the XML File Import to work. If set to No, the source will be disabled. |
| GenericImportPath | This is the path where the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service will look for the XML Import files that you want it to process. By default, this is set to C:\eShopCONNECT\FilesForProcessing and the Install Wizard should create this directory for you.
We recommend that if you change this directory, you also change the GenericImportProcessedPath and GenericImportErrorPath so that they are all on the same physical disc of the computer where the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service is installed. |
| GenericImportProcessedPath | This is the path where the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service will place all the XML Import files which were imported successfully. By default, this is set to C:\eShopCONNECT\FilesProcessedSuccessfully and the Install Wizard should create this directory for you.
We recommend that if you change this directory, you also change the GenericImportPath and GenericImportErrorPath so that they are all on the same physical disc of the computer where the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service is installed. |
| GenericImportErrorPath | This is the path where the eShopCONNECT Windows Service will place any XML Import files which failed to process correctly. By default, this is set to C:\eShopCONNECT\FilesWithErrors and the Install Wizard should create this directory for you.
We recommend that if you change this directory, you also change the GenericImportPath and GenericImportProcessedPath so that they are all on the same physical disc of the computer where the eShopCONNECTED Windows Service is installed. |
