Accounts Receivable Aging Report

This article talks about the Aged Accounts Receivable Analysis Report in Connected Business.

The Aged Accounts Receivable Analysis Reportis a detailed and comprehensive report that shows customer outstanding balances in aging periods which ranges from 30days to 120+ days with indicated total days overdue and based on the customer’s currency.  It also includes last-year-to-date and year-to-date analysis for each transaction recorded and sub-totals for all currencies used in the business.

How To View Aged A/R Analysis Report

The Accounts Receivable Aging reports can be accessed from the Report Center menu of any modules in Connected Business. Click the Report Center menu to load the Report Center window. In the Report Explorer panel, click on Reports > System Reports > Accounting > Retrospective Analysis > Accounts Receivable Aging and the reports under the A/R Aging Analysis will be displayed.

The following are the Accounts Receivable Aging reports:

  • Aged Accounts Receivable Analysis (Doc Date) – This report shows the calculation of accounts receivables for aging based on the transaction date.

  • Aged Accounts Receivable Analysis – Doc Date (Value in Base) – This report shows the customer’s outstanding balances which are converted according to the home currency used by the business and the accounts receivables calculation is based on the transaction date.

  • Aged Accounts Receivable Analysis (Due Date) – This report shows the calculation of accounts receivables for aging based on the due date of the transaction.

  • Aged Accounts Receivable Analysis – Due Date (Value in Base) – This report shows the customer’s outstanding balances which are converted according to the home currency used by the business and the accounts receivables calculation is based on the due date of the transaction.

You can also view this report from the Retrospective Analysis form. Go to Accounting module > Retrospective Analysis. In the form, select Aged AR Analysis from the Report Analysis dropdown list. The Aged AR Analysis report is the default report displayed upon opening the Retrospective Analysis.

How To Filter Aged A/R Analysis Report Data

You can set the filter criteria to view the aging recap and statistical summary of all your accounts receivable activities as of a particular date.

To set the filter criteria,

  1. Right-click on any report under Accounts Receivable Aging and select Print Dialog. The Print Dialog form will be displayed.

  2. In the Filter Criteria panel, select the group operator (And, Or, Not End, Not Or) and click () to add a condition.

  3. Select the “@As Of” and “Equals” condition criteria and select the date to appear on the report.

  4. If you want to delete the condition, click on ().

After setting the filter criteria, select the option on how you want to print the report. The printing options are: Print to File, Print Preview, Printer, Email, Fax, and Lowest Cost. After selecting the printing option, click Print.

In Connected Business v14, if you want to check transactions from previous months or specific dates, you can set the filter by defining the date in the As Of field and selecting the date reference type from the Date Reference field (select between Document Date or Due Date).
