Journal Entries

In Connected Business, Journal entries are created:

  • automatically for each posting transactions like invoices, payments, etc.,
  • manually using the New Journal option in the Accounting module,
  • using Journal Templates and
  • by processing recurring journal entries.

It is also used for reclassification of transactions and posting of infrequent transactions like depreciation and adjustments. It can also be used to overwrite errors in posting of transactions.
